The Flatlet

Situated off Church  Street, St. Mary’s, The Flatlet is the smallest of our four flats and is at ground floor level.

Access to The Flatlet is from a gate in the side lane, past the patio garden, to a small communal lobby.  There are two doors leading from the lobby.  One to the utility and cloak room, the other to a short passage and into the main living room.  The main living room is both light and airy with a large window over-looking the small patio garden.

Immediately to the left, on entering the main living room, is the modern “L” shaped kitchen, which occupies about a third of the room.  There is a built in electric oven, ceramic hob and fridge.  On the worktops are the microwave oven, toaster and kettle.  This work area is provided with dimmable down lighters and under cupboard lighting. To the right is a small folding leaf table and stools.

The remaining two thirds of the room is carpeted and contains a couple of armchairs, a 4’ 6” double bed, wardrobe and dressing table.  Lighting for this area is via targeted down lighters with individual switches.

Also off the passage to the main living room, is the shower room.  This offers a thermostatic shower mixer fed from a hot water cylinder, a wash basin and toilet.

Entertainment is provided by a 19” flat screen television with Freeview channels, a combined DVD player and Personal Video Recorder, and a Music centre. Heating is provided by a radiator run from an electric boiler and controlled by room thermostat.

The utility room contains a washing machine, iron, ironing board, and hair dryer. A table and chairs for use in the patio garden are stored here.  There is a clothes line in the garden for drying washing.

A patio garden is for the use of The Flatlet guests. Electricity included.  Free Wi-Fi is available. All linen provided (except beach towels). Change-over day is Friday. The flat sleeps two persons in a double bed.
